BUTTERFLY CONSERVATORY

Butterfly Conservatory is located 3 km from the Tropical Spice Farm and 4 km from Sahakari Spice Farm. The conservatory is spread over 4000 sqmts and is founded by a couple who are nature enthusiasts and also environmentally conscious. At the time of establishment only 25 species of the butterflies could be seen here but currently 133 species of butterflies beautifying the conservatory. The entire conservatory is designed in the manner of a park like structure where one can stroll and indulge in a visual treat of the nature. It is a great place to take the kids to introduce them to the colorful world of butterflies and caterpillars.
The butterfly house or conservatory is a facility which is specifically intended for the breeding and display of butterflies with an emphasis on education. There are tropical forests as well as endemic plants located in this region. The butterflies are reared in the optimum conditions of both air and soil. This place is indeed the nature’s paradise.
